I am an art student and this is such a great tool. Though I am enamored by what it can do now, I feel it has great potential. Would love to see more customizing features such as more hairstyles, facial features, body colors, body structures (no muscles, overweight,etc.) Would also love to have an option of having more than one model at a time so as to create an actual scene. Please keep up the great work and keep those updates coming. Thanks for creating this!

I bought the female version and worked with it and like the way it works. Now I bought the male version and love it as well. Both app will help me harness my people figure skills.

The latest update has brought some overal amazing improvement to the app. The body mass slider is definitely a good addition, as well as the pose saving. Previously it had been a few months before Id touch this app, randomly felt like hitting the sketchbook for some random poses. Was pleasantly surprised with the new tricks. Id love to see Facial expressions added to the list in the future! As well as a heavier body type, not just muscle, but maybe a physique more on the chunky side? Just a thought! Also would be cool if we could do something with the fingers as well, thatd be awesome!. Keep up the great work guys! I highly recommend this app to any and all my friends who are artists a must have app!

I love the different ways this app works & how well it captured the human body. Not to mention its much easier to pose & work with than others. While the musculature is on point, for an update, Id like to see more heavier body types added in an update at some point. Heavier meaning pot-bellied, fat, or sticky. If not a body type then a feature to add fat into them. The male body is more than just skinny & bodybuilder, lets see how heftier bodies sculpt onto them.

AMAZING app. Bought female, was like WOAH. So I bought the male version. Theres nothing like thee two apps. Everyone else offers the same static poses. Theyre useful for learning the actual anatomical parts. BUT these two apps offer you a dynamic interactive way of learning how the anatomical parts MOVE TOGETHER. And in poses YOU WANT. Thank you for filling this much desired need in the marketplace.

This app would get 5 STARS hands down except for the following glitch. I would’ve reported a problem, but, there’s no contact info at the site. My tablet is an iPad Air running 9.0.1. The posing functionality stops and stutters so much that I’ve had to abandon certain poses because it simply takes too much effort and time to achieve. ArtPose FE WORKS PERFECTLY. Really smooth and completely responsive to the UI. Can you get a fix up quickly? DYING TO USE THIS APP!

What an amazing app! Wish I had this a while ago. Very easy to control. Now I can get my drawings faster since all I have to do is think of the pose, set it and draw. Is like having the model right in front of you. One suggestion: please make an app of the head that you could create face expressions. that would complete the set. Congrats on a great app!

Not only does it show the muscle anatomy in detail, not only does it allow to freely pose the figure and change their body type, but it also accurately shows how the muscle change, expand, and contract as you pose the figure. As an animator and artist in training, I can definitely recommend it!!!

Best reference for drawing characters!!

This Ap is a very powerful artists tool. I am a newbie and by far this is the most useful anatomy tool I have used.

Having toyed around with the app for 5 minutes, I have incredibly already learned how to use it with dexterity, and now I think this is undoubtedly the best purchase I have ever made on AppStore!

I just want to say thank you for the fantastic work that you have accomplished with this app. Five star review… Not enough stars… Amazing work has been accomplished for the iPad… with programs like this, it makes the iPad a strong workhorse for artists. Again not enough stars to shine for both programs… Thank you!!! This app just keeps getting better :-). You guys did a wonderful job. Keep up the good work!

Very helpful for anatomy reference. Great app. Articulation are very good if not great. Relatively easy to pose.

Such a great tool. Keeps updating and getting better. The best tool out there for posing a figure.

Best poser ever, and judging from the responsiveness of the devs, its going to get even better. There is also a female version, btw.

The hands just look weird... The pinky is way long and the thumbs joint is too far from the hand. Sometimes the joints are a bit weird, but I guess thats the inherent limitation of a computer model...? Still really awesome app. Although... The 90s called... They want their UI back ;)

Been using this app both the iPhone & iPad version seriously for a little over a year now. Finding it very helpful as it does its job, to help bring a pose in mind to life. Somethings Id like to see in future updates would be possibly being able to insert say, a large block/ rectangle. Things we can use to lean the models against and such, sit them upon and the like instead of them just floating in that digital grid of a purgatory haha. Maybe even the insertion of a second model, for some character interaction? Another idea Ive had was playing with the models expressions as well, if not integrated into this app, maybe another paid app dedicated to facial expressions and the adjustment of such for exaggeration. All in all, I highly recommend this app to anyone who needs a modeling tool, this app is beyond helpful for both art novices to the professionals!

This, by far is the best anatomy reference app on the AppStore imo. Its much better than all of those other anatomy apps with cluttered interfaces, just use wooden mannequins, or have detailed 3d pictures/models but cant be posed. All of the features are incredibly useful for any artist however there are a few features I would suggest to make this the perfect anatomy app. -Add more body types and more body type editing options. The skinny to muscular slider is a great addition but theres more body types than that. There should be slider for adjusting age( from babies to the elderly) and fat( from a little fat to chubby, chunky and obese etc.) as well. Being able to select a specific part of the body and add/remove fat would be ideal since fat is stored differently for every individual( Ive seen people with strange body types like having a fat belly but skinny neck/arms/legs and people with scrawny arms but have sausage fingers). A slider for stocky/short and tall/lanky people is needed too since not everyone has the exact same body type or build. A slider to adjust height would be welcome too. More variety is what Im getting at. -Digit manipulation. Being able to edit the fingers/toes individually would be useful. - facial expression manipulation - proportion manipulation. Being able to adjust proportions like the length of arms/legs etc would be great for artists that use exaggerated proportions/ stylization like comic/manga artist. Simpler models/ skeleton. The current models are great but most artist rely on simple shapes and stick figures when sketching a character. Id love a slider the breaks the body down into simple shapes. A skeleton and simplified skeleton is welcome as well. If you guys add these features the app would be just about perfect.

An amazingly simple and intuitive app that does ALMOST everything i need. Hope that future updates might include the ability to modify proportions/age. Otherwise great; once you get a hang of it its easy to modify poses without annoying and unwanted twists and contortions!
